Annual Priorities 2024/25
Our Independent Strategic Advisory Board (ISAB) have agreed to deliver the Maternal Mental Health as our main priority project throughout this year, the ISAB have also agreed to support the Stoke-on-Trent City Council on the following strategies:
- All-ages Carers Strategy
- Care and Support Service
- Coproduction Strategy
With these projects, we want to find out about what barriers are faced and how they impact on people’s wellbeing and independence, and to help with the development of local strategies in the community.
A Lack of Access to Services
We know that some people have a tough time accessing local health and social care services because they don't use the internet, the information is too hard to understand or isn’t in accessible formatting, and more. Some have even shared that they are choosing to pay privately for the support and treatment they need. That's why we'll be keeping these important issues in mind for all our projects, and we're calling them our 'golden threads'.
